Place the tape measure below your breasts

Place the tape measure below your breasts, where the band of the bra sits. Extend the tape measure around your chest, keeping it level and tight to your ribcage.

Record the measurement in inches, rounding up to the nearest whole number. For example, 35.5 inches should be rounded up to 36 inches. If the measurement is an odd number, add five inches, and if the measurement is an even number, add four inches. This is your band size.

When choosing a maternity sexy lingerie store  consider comfort above all else. The cup should fit smoothly without puckering. When you first purchase the bra, make sure that the band fits comfortably at the tightest hook. This will ensure room for expansion as your rib cage expands.

Chose a cotton bra with smooth cups as opposed to lacy ones. Many women find underwire bras uncomfortable because they can compress sensitive tissue.

Be sure that the band of the bra fits comfortably. It should fall below your shoulder blades. It should also be snug enough not to ride up when you raise your arms but loose enough to be comfortable.

Choose a bra with wide, padded straps. This will help to ensure that the straps will not dig into your shoulders as the weight of your breasts increase.

You can also buy nursing bras as opposed to maternity bras. If you plan on nursing your baby, this may save you some money in the long run.

Use a soft tape measure to measure just under your breasts. Measure all the way around your body. Don't pull the tape measure too tight. Have it resting comfortably against your skin and even around your rib cage just below the breasts. Wear a thin bra for measuring.

Add 4 inches to the measurement in step 1 if you ended up with an even number or add 5 inches if you ended up with an odd number. This number will be the band size of the bra you need. For example, if you measured a chest size of 38 add 4 inches to that. Your bra band size would be 42.MORE:cheap sexy lingerie

Stretch the car bra across

Take an honest look at your diet. Write down everything you eat--including snacks--to make sure you are not consuming too many empty calories. The extra fat on the back and other areas of the body may be due to excess calories, particularly those containing saturated fat and sugary junk foods. Avoid white, starchy foods like white bread; substitute them with whole wheat products and brown rice. Eat lean proteins. Although you need to reduce calories, try staying somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000 calories, depending on your current weight and level of activity.

Stretch the car bra across the front of the car and attach the opposite set of hooks to the opposite wheel well.

Take the top of the car bra and stretch it up over the grill of the car. Insert the top hooks of the car bra into the engine compartment of the car beside where the hood latches.

Open the kit and find four pieces -- two lower and upper cups that create two halves that will be sewn together to make two cups. Position the upper and lower cup pieces together.

Place the tailor's ham on a flat surface or ironing board. With an iron and the cups positioned how they'll be stitched, place the cups over the ham. In a back-and-forth motion, go over the cups, pressing down firmly to establish their form.

Use pins along the two cup halves seam and at the notch to hold the cups together. Make a top stitch. Place the cup on the throat plate and stitch the cups together. Check stitch and reposition as needed to ensure a good stitch. Set the cups aside.

Find the elastic pieces. You will have two pieces of elastic for each side of your bra band. The elastic will be shorter than the band. Slightly overlap the elastic over the band and use tailor pins to pin together one band with one piece of elastic. Continue to pin and stretch until you have stretched the elastic to the size of the band. Repeat with the next piece of band and elastic.

Place the band on the throat plate and make your first line of stitching in a narrow zigzag pattern along the area where the elastic overlaps the band.

Place the right bra cup right-side up. Stretch the bra band and the left portion of the bra out of the way. Align the cup stitching to the stitching on the channeling. Use tailor pins to hold the channeling throughout the center front seam, side seam and lower cup. Leave 1/3 inch of channeling loose at each end. Place the cup on the throat plate, draw the needle to the inside edge of the channeling. Check stitch by lightly pulling the channeling to make sure the stitch is tight. Repeat with the left bra cup.MORE:cheap sexy lingerie

Advertise your lingerie

Invest in your business. No matter what the business, there are always some starting costs. You'll have to buy some merchandise, as well as a domain name, space to host your website and possibly a webmaster to design your website and look after everything for you.
Hire several employees to run the shop. Start with a couple of full-timers and a part-time worker to help during the busy weekend hours. These employees should have a background in lingeries or women's clothing sales, as well as experience with inventory and an attitude of discretion. To keep track of financial matters, take on an accountant. Get recommendations from the town's Chamber of Commerce, trade associations or neighboring businesses. Don't try to do everything by yourself, because that soon leads to burnout and mistakes.

Get the word out by doing creative marketing and merchandising. A lingerie shop attracts buyers by displaying its finest, most sexy wares in the window. Don't be afraid to push the envelope using well-crafted, classy selections from a variety of manufacturers. Try home parties and trunk shows with known designers to draw in shoppers, or have an opening sale event. Another attractor is a bra-fitting specialist, since most women don't wear the correct size bra. Use the Internet and social networking sites to reach out to customers and spread the word; direct mail is also useful, especially for sending out show invites and coupons.

Advertise your lingerie. Women's lingerie is a popular item that should sell well, but customers can't buy your sexy lingerie if they don't know that it's there. Places like Google and Yahoo will target your ads specifically to those most interested in them but charge a hefty fee. If you'd like to start small, try creating a Myspace page or advertising in forum groups that might be interested.

Offer an opening sale. If you do things right, people will be attracted by the discount. Assuming your product is good and you offer excellent service, you'll gain many repeat customers.

Make a template using Excel or by creating a table in Word. Set up the categories across the top, then mix up the items from each category under each heading. Make enough versions of the card so each guest's will be different.

At the shower, pass out the cards when the bride is opening her gifts. As each gift is opened, guests will mark off the item on their card, until someone gets Bingo. You may want to have a few rounds of Bingo to make sure the game keeps going throughout the entire gift opening process. Be sure to have some wonderful prizes on hand for the winners.MORE:cheap sexy lingerie

it 'sheds water well and does not cling to the figure

Through the 19th century bathing costumes were geared towards modesty, especially in the case of women. As a result the majority of swimwear was long and figure-covering to avoid displaying any 'racy' body parts such as legs or ankles. Bathing wear was usually made from wool or flannel as they were both fairly thick fabrics and made it easy to conceal body shapes. The reasoning behind the use of these fabrics, however cheap lingerie, was two-fold. As well as preserving modesty, it was believed that the heavier fabrics like wool and flannel would protect from the cold, a factor especially important in the chilly English seas. This trend of using wool continued into the early twentieth century. It was believed to be the best option for swimwear as it was durable and was resilient against dirt. One advertisement in 1908 claimed that mohair was the ideal material for a swimsuit because it 'sheds water well and does not cling to the figure'.

The 1920s were probably the first decade in the twentieth century to see big changes in the design and fabrics of swimsuits. In the early years wool remained a popular choice with many women sporting figure hugging wool-jersey sleeveless tank-suits. However by 1925 things began to change. A stretchy textile called Lastex was introduced. The textile was a type of two-way stretching yarn that had an elastic core wound around cotton or silk threads. It became hugely popular and was referred to as the 'miracle fibre'. Cotton and Lastex swimsuits replaced the heavy wool swimsuits of previous years. Swimwear became much more light-weight and much more form-fitting as a result.

Coping with Nausea

One of the unpleasant effects of pregnancy felt during the early trimester is nausea or morning sickness. Despite its common occurrence in the morning, others actually experience this even in later times in the day, even triggered with the slightest unpleasant smell. Measure your bust size

Think that you can't be a fashionista just because you're not a size 2? Think again. Not only do we now have a plethora of choices in plus size clothing to allow you to express your fashion-longing soul, you owe it to yourself to find your inner fashion diva and set her free!

As plus size women, we have sat invisibly on the sidelines of fashion for too long. We want to look good, be comfortable and to feel good as well. We want to express our personality with our clothing, and enjoy the self-confidence that it gives us.

Why Don't the People on TV look like me?

For decades, the media has dictated that only thin people were fashionable. We all grew up with the unspoken messages from TV or movies that if you weren't thin or beautiful, you weren't acceptable. So many of us played with Barbie dolls as little girls, thinking that is the way we were supposed to look when we grew up, but very, very few of us actually do look like that now. We have been set up to feel bad about ourselves.

We have the power to end that now as adults and accept the beautiful body and soul that we have just exactly the way we are! And what better way to do that, than to dress lingeries like we love ourselves and want to show the world how amazing we are? And if you're a mom to a little girl or teenager, think of what a good role model you can be for self-acceptance.
